The Course is divided into 3 sections:
1. Before you drive: Everything you need to know to pass your permit test, including quizzes to assure you you’re ready to take the test. This includes basic rules of the road, signs and driving procedures. Remember you progress at the speed you’re comfortable with. There is no timetable with us. |
| |
2. Techniques of collision-free driving: Now you will combine all the materials, using them together: |
| |
- Parking lot…First you will learn in the classroom everything about driving an automobile from dash gages and seat controls to blind spots and void areas. How to feel smooth starts and stops, right turns, left turns, backing up, parking, changing lanes, figure 8s forward and backward, using your peripheral vision, centering on target and much, much more. Next you will watch our training videos together (student & instructor) watching a father and daughter going through the parking lot training learning the skills and mastering everything they have learned in the classroom. Finally you will be behind the wheel in the parking lot mastering all the skills you’ve studied. Your instructor has a log sheet to check off as you master each one. Amazing you have now mastered the mechanics of moving an automobile. You feel comfortable and your instructor is comfortable you are ready to hit the road! Remember you did it at your pace – no rush, no time table, you are finished with this section when you are comfortable and feel ready to move on.

| |
- Neighborhood…. Now it’s back to the classroom and begin to learn about reading intersections, protected and unprotected turns, pulling in and out of driveways, doing a three point turnaround, showing you are paying attention 360 degrees around your automobile and much more.
